Thermally Broken is a term which relates to the window or door frame, which is equally as important, if not more than the glass. The frame of a window has a significant impact on the overall energy efficiency of any window and door – including that of double glazed systems. Our W50TB, W75TB and our MF ISO -FINELINE features an advanced high-density insulated steel profile as a thermal barrier. This, together with housing high-performance double or triple krypton filled glazing up to 37mm wide, ensures the system surpasses the requirements of current regulations while at the same time providing high levels of comfort, particularly in harsher weather conditions where traditional steel windows may not have previously been sufficient.

TECHNICAL DATA & DOWNLOADS
Metalform steel windows are hot-dip and galvanised. They are available in a choice of highly durable powder paint colours. The paint is baked on at high temperature to give an excellent finish.
While we offer any colour most of our customers go for black 9005 – maybe it’s too hard to choose.
FINISHES
The majority of our external solutions are hot-dip galvanized to EN ISO BS 1461, available in a choice of highly durable Akzo Nobel powder paint colours. The paint is baked on at a high temperature to give an excellent finish. We have a huge range of colours, but if you need some advice on the classics please don’t hesitate to ask us. We can also offer a dual colour finish, where your window frame can be one colour externally and a different colour internally. We also have a few more creative and architectural options such as patina, architectural rust, bronze, stainless, raw finish, galvanised and corten. So, if you did fancy something a little different – we have you covered.
